Flu jabs – don’t miss it

The Private Care Company team have now had their flu jabs and we are encouraging our clients to do the same.

Pregnant women, the over 65 age group and anyone with a long-term health condition such as heart disease, asthma or diabetes are the most at risk.

There are around 200,000 people across Sussex, however, who do not take the NHS up on their offer of a free flu jab. It seems that a lot of people underestimate the dangers of seasonal flu where even a mild case can contribute to more than 2,000 deaths across the country. Flu is also highly infectious and can easily be passed on to a vulnerable person.

At The Private Care Company we take this very seriously and urge people to go and get their free flu jab as soon as possible.
