Coronavirus: information regarding PPE

We have now received additional personal protection (PPE) equipment from the government which includes masks and aprons. We are in the process of dividing these up for our care team. Each carer will receive four masks and six aprons and, while this is limited, we are hoping to get additional supplies in the coming days and weeks.

Because of a national shortage of PPE, these resources currently need to be used sparingly.

Our regular care team will collect their PPE from The Private Care Company office. For live-in carers, we will deliver them to the property they are at.

We recommend that our care team wear a mask. Additionally, they should continue to wear their full uniform and carry out a very high standard of infection control.
